Lincoln resident, Judy Lynne Becker, 69, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Federated Church in Sutton, NE with Rev. Mary Scott officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, NE. Visitation with the family present will be held on Thursday, from 5 p.m. 8 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later.

Judy was born in Hastings on October 9, 1948, to Harvey and Thelma (Haseloh) Carlson. She grew up on a farm near Saronville, Nebraska and attended school in Sutton. She graduated from Sutton High School in 1966. After working for a short period, Judy married Donald Becker in 1968, and they moved to Lincoln Nebraska. She worked several different jobs to help raise her three children. She is known for her love and dedication to her family and to her husband of 50 years. In her later years, Judy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease which she fought courageously, often having to find strength and endurance to overcome the multiple complications of the disease.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Sandra (husband Philippe) Brisson of Archiac France; son, Russell (wife Rhonda) Becker of Lincoln, NE; son, Gregory (wife Dawn) Becker of Highlands Ranch, CO; sister, Carole Otto of Adams, NE; and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Becker; daughter, Cheryl Becker; brother, Patrick Carlson and her parents.
