He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Sons of the American Legion.

Randy is survived by his mother, Patricia Veik of Harvard, NE; wife, Lori (Hohman) Veik of Clay Center, NE; children Chad Veik (Tawny Hinrichs), Samantha Veik (Austin Alexander), and Jake Veik (Matyson Kleinschmidt); and grandchildren Trestyn Muir, Jaelee Veik, and Kynlee Alexander, all of Clay Center, NE. Siblings Gary (Deb) Veik of Denver, CO; Cheryl (Bill) Kerber of Willow Brook, IL; Cathy (Loren) Kanost of Lincoln, NE; Denise (Brian) Swenson of Hastings, NE; David (Kris) Veik of Hastings, NE; and Jamie Veik of Gilbert, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Very sorry to hear of Randy's Passing. I have lots of childhood memories walking around Clay Center with Randy during the winter holiday family visits. We would always stop at the laundry mat to warm up. We would also sit out in Alvin's truck and talk on the CB for hours. Our condolences and prayers.

Soooooo sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I've been praying every day for things to change around. God must have needed another angel. Either that or someone was needed to keep an eye on all the other Veik's up there. Our hearts are broken but you are out of pain. Rest In Peace Randy!!!
