Later in life she attended Central Community College and obtained an associate degree in accounting. She is survived by all her siblings: Albert Tebbe, Le Sueur, MN.; Michael Tebbe, Hastings, NE.; Dennis Tebbe, Hastings, NE.; and Susana Cable, Austin, TX.

In addition to being a wonderful, caring spouse and mother, she spent many years as the Deputy District Court Clerk of Clay County and over ten years in child support enforcement for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and received an award from then-Governor Heineman for her long-time dedicated service to the State of Nebraska. She was active in church activities at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Deweese and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies' Auxiliary.
