A Funeral Service for Loretta will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, Nebraska with the Free German Reformed Salem Church Elders officiating the service.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family present from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, Nebraska.

Graveside Services will be conducted following the funeral at the Free German Reformed Salem Church Cemetery in rural Sutton, Nebraska.

Memorials are to be directed to the family for a later designation.

Sutton - Loretta Huber, 82, of Sutton, NE died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Sutton, Nebraska.

She was born August 16, 1935 near Grafton, NE in Fillmore County to Martin P. Griess and Johanna (Griess) Griess. She was united in marriage to Edmund Huber for 62 years on September 7, 1955. To this union were born four children, Mary Lou; Carolyn; Duane; and Marilyn.

Loretta and her husband lived and farmed near Sutton, NE. She was a homemaker and a partner in the farm operations. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and looked forward to holidays to spend time with them. They moved to Sutton, NE in 1985. They loved to travel and take trips to the farm.

She is survived by her husband, Edmund of Sutton, her children, Mary Lou (Brian) Hiebner of Henderson, NE; Carolyn (Robert) Pracheil of York, NE; Duane (Karen) Huber of Hastings, NE; and Marilyn (Chris) Borchert of Lincoln, NE; two sisters Anna Griess of Sutton, NE; Luella Hunzeker of Sutton, and one brother Aaron (Ruth) Griess of Sutton, NE. Eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her parents; two brothers, Roy and Calvin Griess; and sister-in-laws Rosemary and Arlis Griess; and two grandchildren Kimberly and Kelly Pracheil; preceded her in death.

Eddie, Mary Lou, Carolyn, Duane,and Marilyn-I'm so sorry for your loss-I will miss her so, she always came up to us girls when we were back in Sutton and she would see us and give us the biggest hugs. The memories I have of her and Eddie with my mom and dad are priceless!!!Prayers for all during this time and always.
