Sutton, NE resident, Armond Jacob Ochsner, 89, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at his home in Sutton, NE.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Hope Reformed Church in Sutton, NE with Pastor Scott Henry officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1 p.m. 8 p.m., with the family present from 5 p.m. 7 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later.

Armond Jacob Ochsner was born November 5, 1927, to Fredrick and Hulda (Mayer) Ochsner in Quinn, SD. He received his education in Isabel, SD. On May 27, 1956, he married Adeline Eisenbraun in Creighton, SD. He was employed with the Nebraska Department of Roads for 44 years until his retirement. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Hope Reformed Church in Sutton, NE, the Sutton Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years and the American Legion Argonne Post #61. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Adeline of Sutton, NE; children, Sherry Ochsner and Kelly Fields of Lincoln, NE; Julie and husband Tim Serr of Hastings, NE; Lori and husband James DeLarm of Sutton, NE; Albert and wife Angelita of Sutton, NE; six grandchildren, Kayla Roth; Alicia Wills; Blake DeLarm; Alex DeLarm; Armando Ochsner; Tiffanni DeLarm and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wally and numerous aunts and uncles.
